| In contrast to our narrow industry focus, our geographic coverage is relatively broad. Our diligence is primarily focused on an opportunity's commercial potential, relegating location as a secondary consideration only to the extent that it could enhance or inhibit a company's success. ATV's office in Atlanta, with one of the best served airports in the country, allows easy and efficient means of travel to virtually anywhere in the country. ATV's Atlanta-based investment team is augmented by its venture partners located on the West Coast and Boston. As long as our investment criteria are met, ATV's investment professionals are willing to travel for good deals.
Representative regions where we have invested include those around Atlanta, Austin, Boston, Dallas, Washington DC, North Carolina's Research Triangle Park and Orlando. We also have made investments in California and Arizona, and have considered opportunities in the Midwest, although new deals in these latter locations would likely be contingent on participation by a strong local investment partner.
